# Uqudo API

The REST API functionality of our product can be accessed through various HTTP/REST compatible clients, including popular tools such as cURL and Postman. However, to access our APIs, you must possess valid client credentials. These credentials are the same as those used for our mobile Software Development Kit (SDK). You can obtain your client credentials by navigating to the "[Credentials](https://portal.uqudo.com/credentials)" tab located in the "Development" section of our [Uqudo Customer Portal](/docs/kyc/readme/customer-portal.md).

The credentials must be used to get an access token as specified in the [Authorisation](/docs/kyc/uqudo-api/authorisation.md) page

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.uqudo.com/docs/kyc/uqudo-api.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
