# Uqudo API

The API[ ](https://docs.uqudo.com/docs/kyc/readme/integration-options/uqudo-api)gives you access to uqudo's backend services. It enables you to:

* Retrieve data on the companies and linked individuals (manager, directors, shareholders, UBOs)
* Run data matching validations on the documents
* Retrieve collated from different steps onboarding data and resources
* Perform and manage Background Checks for companies and individuals
* Perform full KYC onboarding using KYC solution
