# Uqudo API

The API[ ](/docs/kyc/readme/integration-options/uqudo-api.md)gives you access to uqudo's backend services. It enables you to:

* OCR and verify images of ID Documents
* Retrieve data and resources collected during onboarding using the SDK
* Perform and manage Background Checks
* Initiate Face Authentication
